At the moment I'm running an experiment in ABBA study design with A1 and B1 on test day one and B2 and A2 on test day two. Once I'll have collected all data of the test persons (in about one month), I'll have to check whether it was necessary to do the big design (ABBA) or if A on day one and B on day two would have been enough to test.

As my test process takes >1h for each. So min. 2h times two days for every test person, my experiment would get more attractive and there's also the stress problem at every second treatment (B1 and A2), that negatively affects my test results.

So ABBA vs. AB: Does anyone have experience with cross-over designed studies?
