I building an ASP.net community-based website coupled with an Oracle database and I'm
looking for feedback, opinions, and viewpoints on how to provide a community-based website project that truly reflects the local population where they can communicate with each other.

yes you can build community based website but you need to change the web framework . you need to change ASP to java Spring boot application
because java spring boot framework is good tool for community based application and collaborate with each other. beside this you can use oracle database backend.
