Good morning,
Our university has collaborated during the last three months of the pandemic with the printing of PPEs by means of 3D printing, contributing with more than 26,000 parts in a population of 2 million inhabitants. Some colleagues and I have written an article about the experience and have focused on the evolution of the organizational model, moving from a centralized organization to a distributed one with the support of a web system developed ad-hoc. It is important to note that all the collaborators were confined to their homes. This organizational change allowed us to improve productivity and reduce delivery times by half.
