I am working with a polymer that has azide groups, and I would like to click it with fluorescent dye that also has azide group. My idea was to use DBCO-PEG2-DBCO for conjugation this 2 azido groups together. Do you maybe know how can I track this reactions step by step? Usually DBCO-azide reaction can be tracket with UV-Vis, but now with two azido groups, this is not possible.

Whether you're trying to make an aminopentazole ring or a 6-nitrogen chain, you should of course be extremely careful and work with very small amounts. There's potential for an explosion.
The result will be a mixture of at least 3 species:
DBCO attached to 2 molecules of azide 1
DBCO attached to 2 molecules of azide 2
DBCO attached to 1 molecule of azide 1 and 1 molecule of azide 2
You can probably follow the reaction by TLC or HPLC or LC-MS. At the end, you will need a way to purify the desired product from the mixture.
You may use DBCO-PEG2-dye directly, if there is no DBCO-PEG2-dye, you can make it with DBCO-PEG2-NH2/ Dye COOH or Dye COONHS.
