Back in July 2021, while working on a project, I posted a graph theory (network-related) question on ResearchGate. It remained unanswered for over four years. Eventually, I left the project unfinished and forgot about it entirely. Recently, while browsing through ResearchGate, I stumbled upon the same question again and decided to ask ChatGPT. To my surprise, it provided an accurate answer with clear explanations in just 10 seconds!
As a researcher, I hesitate to believe that ChatGPT surpasses human intelligence. However, it’s undeniable that it serves as an invaluable tool for early career researchers, who often have many questions but limited guidance. The key is to use it wisely and critically - never accepting its outputs blindly.
