The crisis that the world is experiencing today as a result of the convid-19 pandemic will pass, leaving its devastating effects on the lives of thousands of people, ruining the economy and with social consequences of all kinds. Many argue that we will no longer be the same, that we are facing a change in civilization, with new codes, values, attitudes, knowledge and other learning, in people and in society. The most optimistic, being one of them, point out that it is time to show the best of the human being, that we must build closer, transparent and honest relationships. That this crisis shows the fragility of our nature, that we have overvalued the material and economic aspects of our existence, that this invisible and lethal virus can be a catalyst to generate a new individual and collective status. In this context, educators, we must ask ourselves about the new challenges that the school will have, considering the overexposure and use of ICT these days, in which the teaching and learning processes have moved from the classroom to millions of households (what role are parents playing as their children's first educators?). In the case of teachers, it is possible that they can further enhance the autonomy of their students, so that they are more aware of their responsibility in their own learning. Finally, students, the future of humanity, must be the main protagonists of their own lives. From them, commitment, responsibility and autonomy are expected, with their own training, to integrate critically and creatively into their society, full of uncertainty and challenges that will emerge with the future of tomorrow.
