I am conceptualizing my dissertation in line with policies on water resource management and sustainability. I do not have a strong background in hydrology but I believe EWR is very much crucial to be considered as well. If you have any thoughts on how EWR is estimated or computed, please do let me now. you need to make a hydrological assessment of your ecosystem, usually starting with the inputs (resources) and outputs of your environment (for example evapotranspiration.. ) followed by an estimation of the water needs for each element of the environment. for the methods each balance sheet element has special formulas and methods eg evapotranspiration can be estimated by the Penman Monteith formula which is the most generalise
