Hello, I am looking for data on forest cover for the XX century for France. Currently I have found the dataset by Zanon et al. (2018) for the forest cover from 1000 BCE until 1950 CE at 10 km resolution (very coarse, but the best I found).(https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.886656).

For 2012-2018 I can use either the forest type or dynamic land cover from Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (https://land.copernicus.eu/en) at 100 m resolution or even 20m, 10 m (and I can calculate forest cover from them), and I can also use Corine Land Cover. But between 1950 and 1990 there is a gap. 

Do you know of any spatial dataset on forest cover for France or Europe? thank you very much in advance. Cheers!
