Can we share our published research articles, books, papers in research gate for which we do not have copy right with us (probably with journals, publishers, any other etc....).
Use the final version you submitted before publication. The published version, with all the fancy headers and footers is the version that will be subject to publisher's copyright, if appropriate.
However, you are entitled to retain your own personal copyright which you are free to share. This version will not have the fancy headers and footers on each page. Instead it will simply have plain headers and footers.
You are, of course, entitled to use the published copy if the paper is published under open access.
I hope that helps. We look forward to seeing your publications being shared.

After you transferred the copyright to publisher, you are no more authorized to self-archive your article. Depending upon the journal or publisher, you may use the accepted version of manuscript to share on researchgate.
No problem for open access content, otherwise depends on the license agreement. Many publishers e.g. allow uploading an author copy to the personal or institutional website. However, whether they consider RG such a site is a different question. The only way to find out for sure is ask the publisher.
I have e.g. asked the ACM if it is okay to share author copies on RG and have received the following reply: "Research Gate and Academia.edu are commercial web sites, not institutional repositories, and posting ACM content is *not* allowed."
