Google Docs typically don't meet academic citation standards. Their impermanent, unpaginated nature poses credibility issues. Exceptions can be argued if no alternatives exist for vital content. But cite stable archived versions if possible.
I recently referenced an open letter published on google drive, however, this is in the form of a pdf which is not as fleeting as a google doc - which can be overwritten many times over. My in-text citation make out the first signatory of the open letter as well as the date of publication. In the reference list I include the doc URL and the date of which I accessed the pdf. Good luck!
