Estas puertas convierten el código binario en movimiento a través de la computadora en una serie de señales que la computadora utiliza para realizar operaciones.
• Un avance tecnológico importante al respecto, se llevó a cabo con la fabricación a nivel nanomérico de nanohilos basados en la estructura de ADN y elaborados con Oro, los cuales en forma experimental conducen los impulsos eléctricos en forma similar a los Chips de Silicio; pero con la ventaja de tener un tamaño mucho más pequeño, ser superconductores y por su tamaño nanométrico, la capacidad de reunir en un espacio físico más pequeño, gran cantidad de estos Chips, con la consiguiente ganancia en la capacidad de cómputo en volumen de información y velocidad de procesamiento.

• Por las evidencias científicas y avance tecnológico actual, me parece que antes de que se desarrollen las computadoras cuánticas, será más factible la fabricación de una computadora con Chips de tamaño Nano con base en la estructura del ADN. Probablemente el siguiente paso, sea la creación de un "Biochip" de ADN, previo al desarrollo pleno de las Computadoras Cuánticas para uso personal.

Well to the best of my understanding a quantum computer requires the use of qbits, objects that have a property that can be in the superposition of two states (i.e. both 1 and 0 at the same time). As far as I know, usually the quantum spin is used as this property. I think a DNA molecule is too large to be able to be in a superposition (at least on a useful timescale), so it couldn't be used as a qbit. Perhaps it could be used for other components of a quantum computer though.

The question is - Does Quantum Computation happen in DNA? If so, then can we engineer DNA to become a Quantum Computer? Does Quantum Biology help us to do this?

In other words can we engineer/program DNA to work as a Quantum Computer, and also as a DNA computer to act as both, simultaneously or both, separately? A clear and complete answer is required to this question.

Thank you for your input. I have been to this website before you published your post as an answer to my concerned question. I'm already taking a look at it again. The website as I remember from before talks about Quantum Computing in DNA but how can we engineer a DNA computer (as we have engineered desktop's of today for public use) which does quantum computation or if there is a possibility of such a thing happening, remains to be known by me...

Thank you Prof. Vladimir A. Kulchitsky for your above reply. I will look into how DNA science at the Quantum level sheds light on advancing Artificial Intelligence. I am interested in how DNA manages genetic data in a computational way to implement traits and if we can use this knowledge to develop algorithms or/and a new technology to develop a better computer system...
