A distinguishing characteristic of an ensemble of entangled 2-particle states (aka EPR pairs) is that they would collectively violate Bell inequality. But to violate Bell inequality one must test them using random choices of bases. It seems to me that in order to violate Bell inequality one needs two, not one ingredients: nonlocality and randomness. Is this conclusion correct?
