In my hospital, the number of obstetrical hysterectomies has soared. I need to know if this is an indicator of the quality of care for patients because I think it is being abused this intervention since there are other ways to solve the pathologies before performing it. Until the moment I have not obtained any standard or cut-off value that allows us to establish if we are in the number of patients in which this intervention is performed or we are abusing it.
