Synthesizing water from sunlight and atmospheric components can significantly help combat climate change through innovative approaches like artificial photosynthesis and atmospheric water harvesting. These methods not only provide alternative water sources but also contribute to reducing atmospheric CO2 levels, making them valuable tools in the fight against climate change.
The Saudis with their "Saudi Green Initiative" is doing that right now with cloud seeding, to do atmospheric harvesting and help produce rainfall for the one million trees they are planting each week, for a total of 10 billion trees. They have set aside 200 million hectares as Preserves to replant, and once finished, they are calculating that those trees will remove 5% of the CO2 produced worldwide each year.

The benefit of replanting deserts, is the shade of the plants insulate the surface, so the sun's heat does not get trapped by the CO2 and methane in the air.

Instead, how about asking the Native peoples, if there might be an environmental solution to the environmental problems?
There is talk here about artificial photosynthesis--how about the natural photosynthesis which has been operating very well for 3.2 billion years, and we turn up the dial like the Saudis are doing with their "Saudi Green Initiative" and planting 10 billion trees? And the other 23 countries of the "Middle East Green Initiative" 'planting 50 billion,
And do weekly cloud seeding to water those new forests? The moisture is already there, just needs the nuclei to turn that water vapor into rain.

Do that in ALL of the northern hemisphere desert, helping them heal with their native desert grasses and wildflowers, and 90% of the Global Warming heat created by those bare soils, which is trapped by the CO2 in the air, would be gone.
Try this plan on a hectare or two, plus the weekly cloud seeding, and see how fast you can reverse Global Warming in an instant, with the insulating cover of the native plants.
