I am looking for good conferences or workshops on the topic of data analytics and big data this year. Is there anything where the deadline for submission is not yet expired?
the preferred link would be http://www.wikicfp.com/cfp/call?conference=data%20mining, also check this out,http://www.wikicfp.com/cfp/call?conference=machine%20learning and http://www.wikicfp.com/cfp/call?conference=big%20data
Thanks Muhammad and Nabgha, I did not know wikicfp.com. This page really gives a good overview.
Also the Strata Conferences look interesting, thanks Niko. I did dismiss them before due to the high registration fee, but your answer made me look again and then I noticed the 50% lecturer and 20% research staff discount hidden below...
However, are there any personal experiences with any of these conferences?
Earth and space science data are increasingly large and complex, often representing long time series or high resolution remote sensing, making such data difficult to analyze, visualize, interpret, and understand. The proliferation of heterogeneous, multi-disciplinary observational and model data have rendered traditional means of analysis and integration ineffective. This session focuses on development and applications of data analytics (statistical, data mining, machine learning, etc.) approaches and software for the analysis, assimilation, and synthesis of large or long time series Earth science data that support integration and discovery in climatology, hydrology, geology, ecology, seismology, and related disciplines.
you can still submit a paper at ICMLA (http://icmla-conference.org/icmla13/). the deadline is on July 22. it is a nice conference for applications of machine learning techniques.
