I have a Xevo TQ and Xevo TQs from Waters and both the instruments are not showing any peaks for negative ionization mode. I still get peaks for positive ion mode. Has anyone ever experienced this kind of issue? I tried infusing the calibration and setup solutions and I don't see any peaks in infusion either.

maybe you could have some problems within the ion source. Is it an ESI source? If so, have you checked the capillary voltage and the other tune parameters for the negative ionization?
Yes it is an ESI source. I checked the tune parameters and nothing changed there. All the voltage readbacks are good.
Have you used TFA in positive ion mode? If so, you have probably wiped out the ability of your source to detect negative ions.
