I am currently writing an essay regarding the effects of inflammation in the development of hypertension and just don't seem to be understanding it. If anyone could help me understand this, it would be such a great help!
Inflammation possesses a key role in the pathogenesis of hypertension. Various molecules and inflammatory cells involved in innate and adaptive immune responses, such as monocyte/macrophages, dendritic cells, B and T lymphocytes in this reaction.Pro-inflammatory substances such as Ang II or ET-1, endothelial dysfunction, and ROS production trigger inflammatory signaling pathways and
activate the immune antigen recognition by TLRs, such as that resulting from isoketal-induced protein modification Many cytokines such as IFNγ and IL-17A has an important role in hypertension.1,2,3

Inflammation and hypertension are related to each other since inflammatory conditions may cause an elevation in inflammatory markers that cause increased blood pressure. On the other hand, hypertension causes endothelial damage in chronic course and inflammation follow up the endothelial dysfunction.
