I found it in Bogotá, Colombia. Is a tree about 4 m tall, leaves opposite, fruit about 2 cm in diameter, purpule when ripe, seed coat pink-purpule, seed green polyembrionic. Flowers with multiple cream colored stamens and white carpel. Please see the photos

I think it could be the Magenta Lilly Pilly (Syzygium paniculatum) an Australian tree species. Please let me know if this is sound
