Dear all! I'm hoping for some assistance/advice from everyone here. I'm preparing to begin my master's thesis, but first I need to narrow down my topic. I needed to include a company on the thesis, so I selected a small Tanzanian company (a friend's company), and the thesis also needed to have an international viewpoint, since I'm studying international trade. But right now, my topic is too broad, and I can't seem to limit it down. Could someone please assist me with narrowing my topic?
My subject so far is "An Empirical Analysis of Bilateral Trade Relations Between (company name) and China."
And the main research question would be, "How does trade cooperation between China and Tanzania affect (company name)?"

Your topic is not necessarily too broad if you consider your research to be a case study. Good introductions to case study research include Stake, The art of case study research, and Yin, Case study research and applications.
As per the recommendations above, you can focus on writing a case study based on the company's operations, sales, supply value-chain and performances in China. Relevant theories to focus on are then those in the subject of global value chains, etc.
However, there is a minor issue with using the phrase, "bilateral relationship between Company A and China". There is bilateral relationship between Tanzania and China (both are countries), but not a company and a country. Thanks.
