I am currently working on identification of tree species in Tropical Savanna ecosystem and will require Lidar data to aid classification and identification of the tree species.
I do not have actual links to provide. But my best advise would be to search Google Scholar with "lidar data in sub-sahara Africa" and then to try to get in touch with the authors of the papers that are already dealing with lidar in Sub-Sahara Africa in your field. Most of them will certainly be willing to help you or even to collaborate with you on your project.
