Texture plays an important role in apart from spectral information. So there is need to incorporate texture information in supervised classification.

This method has a suitable performance for texture analysis and classification, especially in terms of rotation, different noises (e.g. Speckle, Gaussian , Salt&Pepper and ...) and also computational time (real time).

I have downloaded your paper, which is about a new method for texture analysis and classification based on a particular combination of wavelet, ridgelet and Fourier transforms as well as support vector machine.
I need few clarifications: i) what kind of data is used in this study, ii) is it possible to use multi-spectral Remote Sensing satellite data for texture-based classification, iii) Is there any specific software or tools available for this analysis.

In this study, we use two datasets; Brodatz dataset which is gray scale and OUTEX dataset in which there are some color information.
The procedure was explained in 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3.
our method is very suitable for rotated and noisy textures, specially for speckle noises.
I think the proposed method can use for multi-spectral Remote Sensing satellite (segmented textures).
