Please accept my apologies, but I do not understand what exactly you try to achieve !?! Can you give little more clarity what exactly you want to do:

a) to achieve required shape using some severe plastic deformation (SPD) process instead of additive manufacturing process, or

b) the purpose is to change only the surface layer of the part, obtained from additive process by (any) plastic deformation method, to improve its performance characteristics?

c) something else...

I understand situation now. Perhaps more suitable for you would have been the methods of surface plastic deformation, i.e. cold forming finishing processes like "burnishing" and "(vibratory) ball burnishing", etc. As a result of these methods, plastically deforms only the surface layer of the workpiece to a certain depth (depending on the process parameters) and structural modification can be created depending on the type of material. Using them, also It is possible to create specific roughness (with regular patterns) on the functional surfaces of the workpiece. In this way, without having a significant change in the overall shape of the workpiece (unlike for most severe plastic deformation processes) some important operating characteristics can be significantly enhanced.

I agree with Omar (direct metal printing)  But there is another form of additive manufacturing through 3D printed sand molds and casting. This would give better properties. ExOne or Voxeljet printers.
