Here, in our research group, we conduct studies with different branches. In order to share the same Calendar we created one central Scheduling REDCap Project. Hence, all the users that have to check the calendar have enough access rights to this particular project. This was the best option that we came up with.

Yes! I have one separate project for scheduling (scheduling project). In the calendar of this project I register the Identification of the individual and the study of which he/she is part of. This way our data collectors can identify which other project they have to access in order to find the individual's record.

This scheduling project does not link automatically to the other study projects. The data collector itself has to access the other projects.

Does anybody know if the scheduling module is able to send reminders to users? As in remind the participant or admin of the upcoming event?

For those who are still looking for answers, I've decided to not use the scheduling module because it cannot sync with our outlook/google calendar. So, I've saved the appointment date and time as a data field, and then use the alert and notification feature to set certain conditions to send out reminders.
