I was wondering if anybody has ever used the Nano Drop 2000c to measure fluorescence emission or excitation of a protein activity assay?

Basically, I want to assess the activity of my protein using a peptide with an MCA fluorescent tag at the C-terminus. If the protein is active, it should cleave the bond holding MCA at the C-terminal amino acid, and this release will generate fluorescence. Lambda ex is approx 360 nm and Lambda em is approx. 460 nm.

The literature I am using to design the experiments make use of a spectrofluorometer for their enzymatic assay experiments. However, the only instrument I have in my lab is the Nano Drop 2000c and I'm not sure if I could use it to measure fluorescence emissions or excitations. So far I've only utilised it to measure absorbances.

Can anybody please advise me on whether I can manage with using the Nano Drop for these experiments?

I'm in the process of finding out myself, consulting manuals and other papers but would love to hear from an actual person who may have some experience to share with this.
