Can i use same meshing parameters of my reference blade to simulate my modified blade case in CFD?

Hi,

If i am validating my reference turbine blade case with my optimum mesh (obtained from grid independence test). Can i now use the same meshing parameters (y+, growth ratio,element size etc) that i used for the reference blade to simulate the modified blade or i have to use different meshing parameters.

Please suggest.
