Can I use enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ELISA to analyse bioactive compounds in algae extract as a substitute to FTIR and HPLC?

I might likely face the challenge of getting an FTIR or HTPLC fingerprinting done on the extract, so am looking for alternatives.

Hi,

ELISA analysis suggests that you have antibodies raised against these particular biactive compounds. If you don't really know what compounds are present in your algae, I suggest you tu use an HPLC-diode array detector method.
