The channels in a Massive MIMO system become more and more orthogonal as the number of antennas grows. In previous works we assume the channel as G=H*D^(1/2). In traditional MIMO channels double-scattering channel is one important channel, I want to know if I can assume the channel as a double-scattering channel in a Massive MIMO system.
Well this model u mentioned covers rank deficient channels and correlated channels but modeling MIMO channels for more realistic scattering environments (e.g., double or multibounce diffuse scattering) beyond single scattering can also be used.
Double Scattering and/or multi bounce scattering may be employed for massive MIMO Systems but correlations among the channels may be kept in mind.
