I oxidized MWCNTs using HNO3 and dried it in oven a month back. Can I use this to make a CNT composite or does CNT looses its properties after a while if not used immediately? It is sealed in an air-tight container.
Good day! Which properties do you suppose MWCNT should loose during storage? Aggregation, thermal destruction, slippage?
I wanted to know about degradation of CNT properties like Thermal & Electrical conductivity, aspect ratio, tensile strength, flexibility. Also, thermal destruction.

Since the method of preservation is well, I think it will preserve its properties .

Carbon nanomaterials are quite stable and usually do not require special handling and storage. The properties could only change if the reaction was not fully completed and the HNO3 properly removed. It would continue to increase the level of oxidation during the storage then.
