I have a data set of survival and recovery rates for cryopreserved embryogenic calli. Design is CRD including 10 experimental units per treatment combinations and repeated once. Treatments are sucrose concentration, sucrose pretreatment duration, dehydration time and LN application I used non-parametric statistical tests because normality assumptions were violated. (Wilcoxon rank sum test and Kruskal-Wallis test)

1. As these are survival and recovery percentages, can I use box plots and comparisons without removing outliers?

2. Same time I did the ordinal logistic regression to determine the effects of treatments on survival rate and recovery rate. Survival and recovery rates were categorized into four categories based on the percentiles (due to low survival rates). How can I combine this interpretation with box plots? Do I need to explain separately? Box plots do not show this interpretation clearly. If it is a general research article, do I need to skip interpretation with odd ratios?
