Can i submit the same research paper (those have not published yet) in two or more journals so that time can be saved?

Hi,

In a subscription journal you are asked to sign that you did not send the paper elsewhere, except to the journal you chose. In this type of journal you are handing over your copyrights of this paper to the publisher, so that he is the only one who can decide where the paper can be published.

In an open access journal you retain your copyrights to the paper, but you are paying article processing fees , and I am not sure if in this case you could publish your paper in more than one journal.
