We mix 1 vial of 2% plain lignocaine (lidocaine) [30ml] in 1 bottle of Antacid suspension (Aluminium hydroxide compressed gel 200mg + magnesium hydroxide 400mg) [200ml] - then we tell the patient to take in the buccal cavity - 2 teaspoonful of solution (10ml), keep it for a while, gentle gurgling, then to spit it out. Its quite useful, spaecially in palliative care. Slight numbness may be felt temporarily. You may try it please. Thanks.

Chris Oliver Good afternoon, thank you for your attention and your answer, of course I did, we made a comprehensive examination including oral medicine specialist examination gastroenterology,ORL, neurology, endocrinology, gynecologic, mammology examinations to exlude some systemic disorder / cancer. We cooperate in management of burning syndrome with professor Scully´s algorhytm. When we close the case as primary burning syndrome that means that there is really no organic cause that could lead to burning symptomatology. So we try to apply some treatment for alleviation of burning symptomatology. But its fairly problem in my land to prescribe some tretments common for example in USA or another countries ( clonazepam rinse, capsaicin gel..)
