I agree with previous answers. I would also emphasize that ridges can act as biodiversity reservatories in anthropogenic environments. They can act as corridors, and also they can provide biological basis for permanently or temporarily abandoned fields. In systems such as fallows they can improve biodiversity cyclical recovering.
In Germany exists an agricultural nature conservation instrument which is payed extra for the inclined farmers called "Ackerrandstreifen" (field edges). These edges are sown in with special flowering plant seed mixtures - "normal" ones and adapted ones for special species like f.e. the grey partridge.
These edges function as flower plants providing parcels for all the pollinators which are getting rare more and more and as corridors or partial habitats/stepping stones for different species from birds to insects and small mammals.
One problem is the temporality of these seeded edges - maximum of 5 years obligatory.
To map field pathes or farm tracks you have perhaps to consider the plant composition on it - which can vary depending on the nearby grown crops. Therefrom also depend in some part the variety of species using it.

I think so, the ridges of field can be classified as corridor if your study is focus on small scale, and the ridges can be important for the nutrient movement across different landscape units.
