Can electromagnetic energy flow like a water? or Do the electric field and magnetic field of the microwave and radio frequency flow like a water in their shielding?
It has long been a debate whether such forces act through a medium consiting of force field or without it. Michael Faraday was one who inteoduced the concept of force field which could be an electric force or gravitational force. The electromagnetic field is actually emission of photons the particles that carry one type of force known as electromagnetic force. In a way electromagnetic field vector can be compared fluid flow vector with one difference that whereas of flow of water is the flow of physical matter, electromagnetic waves is the “flow“ of photons of flow of electric force vector field.
Thanks Farid and Muhammad for sharing your idea about this. I am just curious if RF waves can flow like this in a sense in flowing to lowest part of the box like holes, gaps, and what not. It is proven that RF waves really radiate in holes eventhough that hole are very much smaller than the wavelength. It is also radiate on gaps.
