Can David Lowe's SIFT Algorithm be employed with extended Kalman filter?

This is just a novice question from somebody who just got into this topic. Can the application of Scale-Invariant Feature Transform be combined with extended Kalman Filter?

Dear Yopi Prabowo Oktiovan,

I think so because the Kalman filter is used with David Lowe's SIFT algorithm and EKF is an extended form of KF taking into account the nonlinearity of the image scale process.
