Buzz is a type of pollination mechanism in which bees vibrates to remove the pollen grains from anther. Aprrox 60% of flowering plants possess flowers with anther that open through small pores or slit. Tomato also have poricidal anther.During the visit Xylocopa sp. visit the flowers for their forage and the anthers get distrubed which triggers the dislodging of pollen grains from the anthers. Amegilla sp. which helps in buzz pollination in some plants.
