So I don't know too much about spin waves and suddenly a question came  to me, I know there are two geometries of spin wave regarding to the spin wave vector and the direction of the magnetization: DE (static magnetization perpendicular to the wavevector) and MSBV (static magnetization parallel to the wavevector).

I am sure there are some other differences between DE and MSBV geometry of spin wave apart from the relative orientation between the magnetization direction and the spin wave wave vector. But I am not sure what they are, I have tried to look for some papers but haven't seen any which gives a direct answer...

Thank you very much!
