I have seen all other questions related to this. After looking at the links, i am not satisfied as they are not fitting my need. Research Methodology books are loaded with formulae and theory that are varying from one book to other. Isn't there a clear book which completely describes research techniques and statistics ? Someone suggested kotari, but it doesn't have the content i sought. I do not know why the authors of RM make it more complex. This is a wonderful subject. My students whom i met recently are afraid of RM. I did not start main portion yet. But i want to ease their mind by clearly explaining with proofs that it is not scary.

IS there anyone who could clearly give name of one or two books that are enough for making one to admire RM?

I need RM for Psychology and allied social sciences.
