I am particularly interested in the visceral alerting reflex. Could anyone provide me references of article(s) demonstrating
1) that the rostral ventrolateral medulla (rVLM) procures blood to striated muscle (lower limbs) by shifting blood reserves from the viscera by visceral vasoconstriction?
2) that there is evidence that would execute a stress coping programmation of active avoidance or escape? (PAG?)
