I'm investigating FET sensors and I don't have a good understanding of what differentiates traditional MOS FETs from new materials such as OFETs, CNT-FETs and Graphene-FETs. There's always so much hype about new materials, that I need an objective review paper to compare the properties of each class of FETs.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Frankly, rather than a single paper (which would need to either be book-sized or very general), I will recommend a few review articles on the different types of FETs. If I were to recommend a general book on the subject, a relatively relevant one would be:

The most useful FET is the two-dimensional conventional MOSFET. Now, carbon based material have a vital role in nanoelectronics and biosensor also in solar cells.

Thanks for all the responses. I was able to skim-read a few references, but it's tough to compare different types of FETs and identify the best type for a given sensing application.
I'd love to find a simple table or chart that showed pros & cons of each type of FET along with technical readiness level ("TRL") and ideal application for each type of FET.
