I'm remotely working with two other engineers. Our content as a database that requires data visualisation, some scripts on Python/R and article in LaTex. We use github and skype for out work, but this is not good enough. Are there any platform designed for this kind of collaboration?

Google drive related tools are one of the best in collaboration in research. You can share files, collaboratively edit them, can do multiparty video conferencing and even you can manage multiple research calendars as well.
depends on what you need.
For sharing sourcecode you have github.
For editing documents colaforatively you have google docs.
For communication you have skype/google hangouts .. you can use scree sharing here ...
If you need (visual) remote control over the system, you can use team viewer ...
For latex ... I don't know one, but writing the document in google docs first and than mooving to latex is a fair solution for now
I find the application Slack the best for collaboration in sharing messages, data, links, documents. The free version is fine for a small project between two or three people. Slack is accessible from any iOS, OS X, Windows, or Android hardware -- it is intended as a collaboration tool for teams.

For the article I strongly suggest Overleaf (it has been really helpful to work remotely with my advisors).
