My research domain is on the cognitive radio security. One of the most important security problems in CR networks is PUE(primary user emulation) attack where the malicious node emulates primary user's signals so that the secondary users avoid signaling on that frequency band. One of the general solutions to this problem, is to classify primaty & secondary user signals through various methods such bayesian classification, neural network algorithm , supervised or unsupervised & ... .

I started this subject recently and don't know enough about classification methods. Can anybody explain differences between these methods or suggest a better classification method?
