Can anyone help with a method or software to detect patterns in fluorescent microscopy images?

Hello everyone,

I have accquired some images of muscle cells/tissues following smFISH staining. I wish to detect patterns inside the cells, specifically sarcomeres. I would very much appreciate any suggestions for a method or a software capable of performing this task.

Hello

The method outlined here: Code Self-organizing map-based quantization error from images

can determine the variation within each image and give it an average value. The value returned can give you some idea on the pattern of each image. The python code for the method is also provided.

I hope this helps, otherwise give more details on the kind of pattern detection you have in mind.
