I have injected polymer with gelatin as progon, crosslinked in situ, the setting time is 10-15 min in room temperature and 5 min in 37C which wanted to be used as a bone graft substitute. After thorough mixing, the polymerizing solution was transferred to Teflon mold and allowed to be crosslinked for 1 h at 37C. After crosslinking, the mold was cooled to room temperature and the scaffold was removed from the mold. for generate 3D porous structure, the hydrogel porogens were leached out from the scaffold by incubating the scaffold in 0.1N NaOH solution overnight. The resulting porous scaffolds and the non porous scaffold were dried at room temperature for 1 day and further dried in a vacuum oven overnight at 23C. For compression strength the test where ran directly but for tensile test the samples where kept at 23C and 50% humidity for 40 hr prior test. Could I know if this condition storage is correct or no, please?
