I have been trying to run a simulation of a simple UMTS network running on an IP backbone but I have repeatedly received the same error:
"Error in GTP process model: Wrong Core Network Configuration.
No corresponding GTP module was in a RNC or SGSN nodes."
I cannot find any attribute in the SGSN nodes where I could configure the GTP.

Check the three GGSN node models, umts_ggsn_slip8 umts_ggsn_atm8_ethernet8_slip8, and umts_ggsn_ethernet2_slip8. The GPRS Tunneling Protocol (GTP) runs in the IP module on these nodes and sets up GTP tunnels between the GGSN and SGSN.
Also check two SGSN node models, umts_sgsn_ethernet_slip and umts_sgsn_atm_ethernet_slip and their corresponding IP modules
I Have to model a UMTS cellular network to evaluate the TCP performance with variable bandwidth and i have been advised ti use Opnet modeler but have never used. can anyone help me for how to create the UMTS network in Opnet ?? appreciate Your response at the earliest.
