Hello everyone,

Can anyone identify the species of the this diatom (x600). It was recovered from northeastern Bay of Bengal sub-littoral sediment and appears mostly to belong to Nitzschia, with a slight change of being one of Navicula. But I need to ascertain the species. There are many like this and the picture is not conclusive enough either.

Any positive help (with identifying features observed in the picture and possible references) will be gratefully appreciated.
