I'm trying to conceptualise a composite model of beneficial personality traits (AMO), for optimal performance and low burnout risk, upon which to base mental skills training. In this, I aim to illustrate this relationship using a complex model.
I have come this far: 1. Each personality trait is a structural continuous subcomponent of AMO; 2. AMO has an influential relationship with mental skills training; Then this is where I'm stuck 3. Is the relationship from mental skills training to performance, and burnout, functional or longitudinal?; 4. Stuck again. What about the subcomponents of mental skills training, i.e. imagery, self-talk etc.? How would they be illustrated - structural, functional or a third?
