I am working for optimization of an intermediate. This is the part of a nucleophilic substitution reaction. I received the same error message with several try. It always producing the following error message:
Consistency failure #1 in Separa.
Error termination via Lnk1e in /home/adhikary/g09/l301.exe at Thu Aug 24 05:23:42 2017.
I do not know the meaning of this line, "Consistency failure #1 in Separa.". If somebody help me by giving suggestion to overcome it would be helpful for me.

Are using solvent in your calculation? Please provide us more details. Your input and output.
It is impossible to say anything without input file job specification. Upload the input file or just paste the job specification line from the input file. I think there is keyword related problem.
you can email your problem to Gaussian technical support ([email protected] ) with your input and output file. They have helped me a lot when I was struggling with my Transition State calculations.
