To provide excitation for a Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) in HFSS:

Create CPW geometry with trace and ground plane.

Access "Excitations" tab and choose "Create Port."

Select CPW trace as port location and define port type (e.g., "Wave Port" for mode).

Configure port properties like frequency range and CPW characteristics.

Set excitation type (e.g., Voltage Source) and input parameters (magnitude, phase). These steps enable accurate analysis of CPW behavior with applied excitation in HFSS simulation. Adapt steps as per specific CPW design and simulation needs.
