I download MISR Level-2 data using "MISR Order and Customization Tool". It provide Swath data, Here my study area is IGP in North India so we need to Mosaic this swath data. I am using HEG Tool fro importing the data from EOS-HDF to TIFF but it is showing error. If any one working on MISR Level-2 data, please help me to moaicking the MISR Level-2 aerosol parameters.

It is not clear from your question what 'error' is occurring. However, please note that all products that are provided on the basis of path, orbit and block elements (typically Level-1 and Level-2) are still in Space Oblique Mercator (SOM) projection. This particular projection minimizes geometric distortion effects of individual data sets, but the products can't be directly combined into a mosaic, as each orbit follows its own projection. You should first re-project each data into a common projection that is suitable for the entire area of interest, and then mosaic the images. Alternatively, if you download Level-3 products, these have already been reprojected, and they are often available globally so there is no need to perform any of these steps.

Sir actually I want to study high resolution aerosol data so I need to take Level -2 MISR data. I download Level-2 MISR Data, it is in path and blocks. I want to extract this data in particular parameters as AOD,SSA..etc separetly. For this I am Using MISR HEG tool, according to the literature it is the tool for working with MISR Level-2 data. finaly I imported the data and converted it in GeoTiff but in this GeoTiff shows the error at the time of opening in ERDAS or Envi, The error is "there is no layer". I want to subset the path data from 60 to 84 blocks and after that mosaic adjacent path finally want to get spatial seamless aerosol optical depth for Indian region at resolution 17.6 km.

Thanks for the clarification. Assuming the MISR files you downloaded are themselves not empty, it looks like this is a software problem. I have never used the tool HEG, so I'm not the best person to answer your question, however, I did look at the "HDF-EOS to GeoTIFF Conversion Tool (HEG) Stand-alone User's Guide" available from
