We have conducted interviews with HIV infected individuals and their care givers in the family. I have methodological dilemma: should I take it as indepth interviews or case study.
In a case study it is recommended to combine different data collection methods, so that you can get a many-sided perception of the case (see e.g. Yin, R. 2009: Case Study Research. Design and Methods.Sage Publications. Los Angeles.). If you have only interview data, I maybe wouldn't call it case study. But if you also have written documents or observation data or something else, then a case study approach might be adequate.
